This story has been reported in newspapers in Italy and many websites. There were many witnesses who reported the event, but there are no pictures or video evidence yet. The usual interference stopped the technology working. The question is, can we believe the word of a group of witnesses these days.

Its a tough one to call, even with images or video it can still be a tough call due to the easy access to software and video editing tools available on the internet.

In this case each witness needs to be interviewed individually and then all interviews compaired for similarities.

I agree with your points, but only the investigators ever get to find out what is really going on by interviewing the witnesses. If it is a real case it will probably never make it to the mainstream news by the time the research is done. The witnesses are often threatened to keep their mouths shut.

Men in black, military, pilots, politicians. People often report that some footage they have filmed is taken off them by some government types, never to be seen in public again.
